Mobile RAD Fix Up’s
Have your bike tuned up in good working order while watching a film? How amazing is that?! For a koha, our fix it workshop crew is there to check and tune up your bike. We’ll cover the basics with a safety check, general inspection and advise, adjusting the gears and brakes, inflating tyres and tightening all the loose jiggly bits to the correct tension. Puncture repair kits and spoke reflectors will also given away for FREE while stocks last.
Don’t have a bike or could use another? RAD will be displaying our best vintage bikes that deserves a new owner, these blasts from the past have been restored to good working condition and will be a splendid choice for your daily commutes. Your koha for the bike helps keep cycling heritage alive and sustains the RAD project to continue to serve the community well.
The fix it workshop is a great opportunity for you to have your bike checked by our mechanically competent RAD volunteers, we want you to be inspired to get out and ride your bike!
Time: 4pm ~ 7pm. First come first served basis. Venue: Space Academy foyer
RAD Bikes is proud to share our brand new Waste Minimisation Report!
Over the last year, RAD Bikes has assessed it’s waste minimisation impact and identify future opportunities. The resulting report outlines our waste, our impacts, our lessons learnt and future possibilities.
RAD has learnt so much along the way and hopes others can benefit from our learnings too!

Huge thanks for Sustainable Initiatives Fund Trust (SIFT) for generously supporting this project. The lessons from this research are already making RAD Bikes more sustainable.
PS: Like all things RAD we are flexible with the details, so if you have any questions / suggestions, feel free to send an email to our lovely RADmum Jess or our equally lovely educator Nic and they will be happy to give you a bell for a no-obligations-free-chat.
