The motherload just landed at RAD
241kgs of vintage beauties – bikes, parts, tools, accessories.
Saved from being put to scrap metal death!
Thanks to Mike from Annex Metals for the call, it’s great to have found a metal recycler who’s willing to work with us to save amazing stuff from becoming waste.
So come grab yourself a piece of cycling history….these puppies won’t last long!
Each month, RAD hosts an upskilling session for our volunteers.
Teaching is provided by the fantastic Dave Johnson, a professional bike mechanic and all round cycling hero.
These sessions upskill our crew to increase the quality of assistance we provide. (making us all more RAD!)
It’s one of the perks of being a RAD volunteer!
Guys and girls, it is my pleasure to announce that this years afterschools program will be going ahead starting the 11th of February (Thursdays as usual) and running until the 31st of march.
same old time of 3.30pm but fear not if you run late, we will play and get organized and get down to business/learning around the 4 o’clock mark – we will see how time suits everyone.

Even that stale bit of pizza you was saving – All good things eventually come to an end, and this last term of after schools was no exception (sorry about the pizza though, ill replace it).
So after many weeks of work from the kids and many hours of work from the adults after hours we finally got the green beast (with pink and silver bits) race ready.
