Kia ora RAD whānau!

Welcome to our overview of RAD’s universe.

The dark season has hit RAD, but that doesn’t stop our everyday heroes! Our crew still turn up to help our people and planet, with cold fingers and headtorches on.

Behind the scenes, we’re building our crew, connections and momentum to achieve our grand plan of establishing and sustaining one permanent home! We’re clear on what we’re looking for and are now actively on the hunt for the right place. So if you have any ideas, please get in touch.

New Staff and Treasurer!

Introducing Kiran, Joel and Mark! (check out their roles and bios here) We’re stoked to have more super RAD humans join Our People! And all the best to Lucas & Ryan on their overseas adventures! We look forward to seeing you both back at RAD soon.

New Collab with W.O.R.D

We’ve teamed up with W.O.R.D to grow our Afterschools Programme! Kids learn maintenance and riding skills to become super RAD. Massive thanks to Dave, W.O.R.D and Addington Kura for being keen to join the fun / chaos. We’re keen for more so watch this space!

RAD EVENTS

Corporate Fix Ups

RAD loves hosting groups. Big thanks to Escape Adventures who recently joined us to brush up on their bike maintenance skills, while helping our planet and people, you’re so RAD! If you have a group who’s keen / curious, get in touch and we can chat RAD options.

RAD Courses & Workshops

Our mechanics courses and workshops are proving super popular! Thanks for your patience in securing spots. We’re working to our current capacity, but it’s so RAD to know there’s mad appetite to learn. The best way to hear first and grab tickets is by following us on Humantix. Good luck and hopefully see y’all soon!

RAD Club Nights

One of the perks for RAD volunteers is free access to our Club Nights. These weekly sessions have the best tools, professional advice, classic parts and RAD humans, all in a sweet indoor setting at Space Academy. Sign up to volunteer and join us for RAD times!

Helping Shirley Village

“Our kids are stoked with their bikes. We’re now seeing heaps of kids riding around the neighbourhood together and loving their matching helmets. It was great to hand out extra helmets to those we found riding without, and have very happy parents, getting bikes in time for the school holidays."
